| Aug | A training session for new NFHS referees will occur August 18th and 21, 2010. Wednesday @ 6:15 pm-9pm & Saturday--9 AM to 5:00 PM. The location will be the Westwood Council on Aging, 60 Nahatan St, WESTWOOD MA. A $25 deposit toward the clinic fee must be paid 7 days in advance. Make check payable to EMSOA and sent to Ed Rae, 209 Winter St, Westwood MA 02090. The deposit is credited towards course fee. USSF Referees grade 7 or better (Grade 6, 5, etc.) are only required to attend the last four hours of the course. For information, phone (M-F 0nly) 781-329-8799 or e-mail: EdRae@massref.net. The next training session for new NFHS referees will occur August 26-28, 2010. Thursday and Friday evenings 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Sat 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The location will be the Unitarian-Universalist Church, Bedford, MA. There is a maximum capacity of 30 seats at the session and a minimum requirement of 10 people to sign up in advance. If there is not enough who pre-register, the clinic will be canceled. Franklin, MA. Attendance will qualify EMSOA members towards
meeting the requirement for attending an Interpretation Meeting
but you must sign-in on the EMSOA
signature sheet at the front door in order to receive credit and your 2010 membership packets.
Mandatory Rules Meeting - an additional Rule Interpretation Meeting has been scheduled for August 26, 2010 @ 7:00 pm. at the V.F.W. Hall, 20 Junction Street, Needham. MA. If you cannot get to the Rules Interpretation Meeting at your chapter, mark your calendar to go to this one. |

Sept 5 - First game of season Mandatory Rules Meeting and Regular Meeting: You must attend one of the rules meeting. If you cannot attend a rules meeting at your chapter, you must attend another rules meeting either at another chapter or the joint chapter meeting in August (date is TBD) or the meeting at MIAA headquarters in August (date is TBD). You must attend 2 of the 3 regular chapter meetings. If you cannot attend the chapter meeting in your area, you should go to a chapter meeting in another area. SOUTH CHAPTER:
All meetings are at Hanover High School and
start at 7:30 p.m. Mandatory Rules Interpretation Meeting - Wednesday, September 1 Regular Meetings: Wednesday, September 22, October 6 and October 20. NORTH CHAPTER: The meetings will be at different places and the location is subject to change. Date and location of the Mandatory Rules Interpretation Meeting is TBD - It might be September 2 or September 7. The first two regular meeting will be at Lynnfield Middle School at 7:00 pm on Thursday September 23 and October 7. The third regular meeting will be at Polcari's Restaurant, 309 Montvale Avenue, Woburn at 7:00 pm on Thursday October 21

The Annual Business Meeting will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 2:00pm, V.F.W. Hall, 20 Junction Street, Needham. MA. . This meeting is for all officers and Chapter Delegates but is also open to any member. Please contact Secretary/Treasurer if you wish to attend this meeting at least two weeks prior to meeting |
