Final announcement of location and times of training sessions for new NFHS referees. |
| April - May | Training of new NFHS referees. SOUTH CHAPTER: April 26 and 28, May 3, 5, and 10, 2010 at Hanover High School. NORTH CHAPTER: April 22 and 23 (Thursday and Friday) from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m and April 24 (Saturday) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Location will be the Unitarian-Universalist Church, Bedford, MA. You must send Cal Perry (978-475-5924 or cgeeco@bigfoot.com, 25 Timothy Drive, Andover MA 01810) a refundable $25 check deposit for the clinic fee at least 7 days in advance. WEST CHAPTER: The date for the next set of classes for new NFHS soccer referees has been changed. They will be held May 4th (Tuesday) from 6:15 PM to 9:30 PM & May 8th (Saturday) from 9 AM to 5 PM , 2010 at the Westwood Council of Aging, 210 Nahatan St, Westwood MA 02090 - (781) 329-8799 (behind Jr High at corner of Nahatan St. & Rte 109, next to HS Football field, approx. 2 miles from Rte 128). To register: Contact Ed Rae ( 781-769-3574) or Raebehan@verizon.net. A $25 deposit toward the clinic fee must be paid 7 days in advance, with a check payable to EMSOA. Send the check to Ed Rae, 209 Winter St, Westwood MA 02090. The deposit is fully refundable. USSF Referees grade 7 or State Level (Grades 6, 5, etc.) are required to attend only the last four hours of the course. There is a maximum capacity of 30 at the session. A minimum of 10 people must sign up in advance. If there is not enough who pre-register, the clinic may be canceled. |
| Sep-Oct | Mandatory Rules Meeting and Regular Meeting:
You must attend one of the rules meeting. If you cannot attend
a rules meeting at your chapter, you must attend another rules
meeting either at another chapter or the joint chapter meeting in
August (date is TBD) or the meeting at MIAA headquarters in August
(date is TBD). You must attend 2 of the 3 regular chapter
meetings. If you cannot attend the chapter meeting in your
area, you should go to a chapter meeting in another area. SOUTH CHAPTER:
All meetings are at Hanover High School and
start at 7:30 p.m. Mandatory Rules Interpretation Meeting - Wednesday, September 1 Regular Meeting: Wednesday, September 22, October 6 and October 20.
